Andrew Chamlin

Chief Commercial Officer

Andrew Chamlin serves as Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for CEA’s global commercial strategy and client development. He leads the alignment of CEA’s Education, Insights, and Communications divisions under a unified vision, expanding the company’s impact by helping clients transform scientific evidence into actionable knowledge that advances patient care.

Andrew brings a unique combination of client, agency, and digital platform experience that will help drive CEA’s go-to-market strategy. Before joining CEA, he served as Chief Marketing Officer at Aspargo Labs, where he led product commercialization, helped position the company for international expansion, and introduced innovative approaches to digital engagement. Previously, he spent more than a decade at the Interpublic Group, ultimately serving as Global Chief Marketing Officer at IPG Health, where he guided strategic growth across a multidisciplinary network of healthcare professional, direct-to-consumer, and medical communications agencies.

At Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, a biotech start-up, he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing/Communications, where he built the company’s Digital Marketing Center of Excellence and led both the market research and marketing operations departments. Andrew explored his interest in early-stage companies with roles at the health and wellness start-up Revolution Health, where he was hired by Steve Case of AOL to lead their marketing and advertising sales divisions.

Andrew further honed his digital credentials at WebMD, where he served as General Manager of medscape.com. His division was responsible for the delivery and development of transformative marketing and promotional programs for global pharmaceutical and health and wellness clients.

In addition to his start-up experience, Andrew held senior marketing roles at leading global pharmaceutical companies. At Pfizer, he led strategic brand initiatives across multiple therapeutic areas. Prior to Pfizer, he was at Johnson & Johnson, where served internationally as Group Product Director for the women’s health consumer products franchise.

Andrew holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin and earned his MBA from Columbia Business School.
